Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for fabricating high-strength sustainable composite panels using chemically treated agricultural stubble and a polymer matrix. Agricultural residue including rice stubble, paddy straw, wheat stubble, or similar lignocellulosic biomass is cleaned, dried, size reduced, and subjected to alkaline treatment to remove impurities, waxes, and weak surface constituents while improving fibre roughness and matrix adhesion. The treated fibers are washed, moisture conditioned, and blended with a polymeric binder comprising epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, phenolic, bio-resin, or equivalent systems to form a composite mass. The mass is introduced into a mould and compressed under controlled load followed by curing to obtain rigid panels of uniform thickness and improved density. The resultant panels exhibit enhanced strength-to-weight ratio, dimensional stability, crack resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic dampening properties. The invention converts problematic agricultural waste into commercially useful boards for construction, furniture, partition systems, packaging, transport interiors, and modular infrastructure applications.
