Abstract: ABSTRACT A PROCESS FOR ASSEMBLING AN ALKALINE ELECTROLYZER STACK The present disclosure relates to a positioner device 114 designed to enhance the manual assembly of alkaline electrolyser stacks by ensuring precise electrode placement within the bipolar plate slots. The alkaline electrolyser stack, which is the core of alkaline water electrolysis technology comprises bipolar plates 106, 108, electrodes (cathode and anode), membranes or separators 116, gaskets 118, end plates 102, 104, and tie rods 130. These components are stacked in a structured manner to form a zero-gap configuration, which is essential for minimizing ohmic resistance, ensuring proper electrical contact, and preventing leakages. The positioner 114 enables faster and more accurate alignment, reducing errors and improving efficiency. It facilitates precise electrode positioning even when the slots 122 are not visible, preventing misalignment and enhancing the overall performance and durability of the stack. Figure 1:
