Abstract: TITLE: “A PRINT HEAD FOR AN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM AND THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM THREOF” ABSTRACT 5 A print head (3) for an additive manufacturing system (100) is disclosed. The print head (3) includes a mounting device (200) coupled with the print head (3). The mounting device includes a housing (9) and at least one sensor (11) is accommodated within the housing (9). A control unit (10) is communicatively coupled with the at least one sensor (11). The control unit (10) is configured to receive a first signal from the at least one sensor (11) corresponding to at least one 10 printing parameter of printed layers. The control unit (10) compares the at least one printing parameter with a pre-determined threshold limit to detect and determine defects in the printed layers of an additive manufacturing process.
