Abstract: The present invention relates to a press machine (100) for edible oil recovery from sludge and a process thereof. The press machine includes a press chamber (300). The press chamber (300) comprising a press cage (310) with an upper half cage (310a) and a lower half cage (310b), an inlet point (330), and an outlet point (350). Each of the upper and lower half cages (310a and 310b) comprises a plurality of closely adjacent resilient elements (320) defining an inner surface of the upper and lower half cages (310a and 310b). The press machine also includes an inlet housing (200) and a rotating screw (400) with worms (420) and press collars (440) without flight. The inlet housing (200) is configured to be coupled to the press chamber (300) and the rotating screw (400) is configured to be positioned within the press cage (310) of the press chamber (300).
