Abstract: The present invention relates to a press-fit self-lubricating multi-layer hinge bushing comprising a steel outer shell (101), a sintered bronze intermediate layer (102), a polymer composite inner liner (103), and an integral anti-rotation snap feature (104). The steel outer shell (101) provides structural rigidity and press-fit retention, the sintered bronze intermediate layer (102) provides thermal conduction and mechanical bonding, and the polymer composite inner liner (103) comprising recycled PA66 with graphite and PTFE provides low friction self-lubricating rotation for a hinge pin (203). The integral anti-rotation snap feature (104) locks into a hinge knuckle (202) preventing rotational displacement. The hinge assembly includes hinge leaves (204, 205), hinge knuckle (202), and hinge pin (203) enabling smooth pivoting motion. The invention eliminates lubrication requirement, reduces wear, prevents rotation failure, and enables operation exceeding 200,000 cycles. The layered structure ensures load distribution, thermal stability, and noise-free performance in door hinge applications.
