MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113166 A) filed by Mrs. Vadlatal Sindhura Lakshmi; and Dr. Kalpana Koneru on September 21, 2026, for A Predictive Analytics Framework For Evaluating Job Involvement, Supervisor Support, Family Involvement, Family Overload And Family Support On Bi-Directional Work-Family Conflict.

Inventors include Mrs. Vadlatal Sindhura Lakshmi; and Dr. Kalpana Koneru.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a computer-implemented predictive analytics framework for evaluating factors associated with bi-directional work-family conflict. The framework receives data corresponding to job involvement, supervisor support, family involvement, family overload, and family support, and processes the data through validation, normalization, feature construction, predictive modelling, and interaction analysis modules. Separate predictions are generated for work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict. The system further determines contribution and interaction indicators associated with the input variables and generates an interpretable output comprising directional conflict indicators, contributing factors, interaction relationships, and optional confidence or uncertainty measures. The framework may be implemented for individual-level, population-level, research, organizational, or longitudinal analysis and provides an integrated computational architecture for identifying relationships among occupational and family-related variables and predicting corresponding directional work-family conflict outcomes.
