Abstract: ABSTRACT A power failure prediction and alert system (100) is provided for continuously monitoring electrical power supplied to medical equipment. The system (100) comprises a power supply unit (101), step-down transformer (102), rectifier circuit (103), and voltage regulator (104) for converting and regulating electrical power for system operation. A voltage sensor module (105) and current sensor (106) continuously sense voltage and current supplied to the equipment. A microcontroller (107) receives the sensed parameters, compares them with predetermined threshold conditions, and identifies an abnormal power condition. A GSM communication module (108) transmits an alert message upon detection, while a buzzer (112) provides a warning. A relay module (109), controlled by the microcontroller (107), switches the equipment to a rechargeable battery (110) when backup power is required. A display unit (111) displays monitored values. A printed circuit board (113) and connecting conductors (114) provide component mounting and electrical interconnection. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
