Abstract: ABSTRACT A POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES The present disclosure relates to a power distribution system (100) for vehicles (1000), comprising a flat ribbon cable harness (110) configured to carry electrical power from a power source or a vehicle control unit (104) along a predefined routing path. The system includes a first junction box (102) and a second junction box (106) disposed at spatially separated locations and connected via respective segments of the flat ribbon cable harness (110). The junction boxes (102, 106) comprise mating connectors configured to interface with front-side and rear-side electrical loads. The flat ribbon cable harness (110) distributes power through the junction boxes (102, 106) such that all electrical connections are enclosed within sealed internal cavities. The system (100) reduces wiring complexity, enhances reliability, improves packaging efficiency, and prevents exposure of electrical connectors.
