Abstract: The present disclosure provides a power conversion system and a method thereof. The system 100 includes an input interface 102 configured to receive an input power and generate an intermediate DC voltage, a signal generation interface 104 configured to convert the intermediate DC voltage into a duty-cycle modulated signal representative of the intermediate DC voltage, an isolation interface 106 configured to transmit the duty-cycle modulated signal across the isolation interface 106, and a controller 108 configured to receive the duty-cycle modulated signal, determine a level of the intermediate DC voltage based on a duty cycle of the duty-cycle modulated signal, compare the determined level of the intermediate DC voltage with a predefined threshold level, and disable operation of a power switching interface 110 when the determined level is less than the predefined threshold of the intermediate DC voltage to prevent reverse current flow from a load.
