MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511059932 A) filed by Army Design Bureau on June 23, 2025, for A Power Conversion Device.

Inventors include Saxena, Harsh; and Kumar, Parmanand.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A power conversion device (124) is disclosed. The device (124) includes a pre-determined number of switched mode power supply (SMPS) units (202) configured to receive an alternating current (AC) input power at a first pre-defined voltage level from a generator and convert the AC input power to a direct current (DC) power at a second pre-defined voltage level. Each SMPS unit is connected to remaining SMPS units in a parallel-in-parallel-out configuration, and the pre-determined number is determined based on a pre-defined output current. The device (124) further includes a plurality of DC fans (204) connected across a pair of output terminals of the pre- determined number of SMPS units (202), configured to maintain an operating temperature of the pre-determined number of SMPS units (202) within a pre-defined temperature range.
