Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a portable thermoelectric cooling box (100) for storing and transporting temperature-sensitive materials, particularly medicines, vaccines, insulin, biological samples and diagnostic specimens. The cooling box (100) comprises an insulated enclosure (102) defining a storage chamber (104), a thermoelectric cooling module (106), a cold-side heat sink (108), a hot-side heat sink (110), cooling fans (112, 114), a rechargeable battery pack (116), a battery management system (118), and a power control arrangement (120). The thermoelectric cooling module (106) provides cooling without conventional refrigerants, while the heat sinks (108, 110) facilitate heat transfer and heat dissipation. The cooling fans (112, 114) promote air circulation and heat removal. The rechargeable battery pack (116) enables portable operation, and the battery management system (118) provides battery protection. The invention provides a compact, lightweight and environmentally friendly cooling solution for portable healthcare applications. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
