The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable motor-driven screw jack mechanism for automotive applications, comprising a ground-engaging base, a structural lifting assembly, a load-supporting saddle, a threaded lifting screw, a movable threaded member, an electric motor, a torque transmission arrangement, a motor-control unit, and a portable power source. The electric motor generates rotational input that is transferred through the torque transmission arrangement to the threaded lifting screw, whereby rotation of the screw produces linear displacement of the movable threaded member and corresponding vertical movement of the load-supporting saddle. The motor-control unit provides reversible operation for controlled raising and lowering of an automotive vehicle and may monitor motor current, load, temperature, and travel position. An anti-back-drive or mechanical holding arrangement can resist unintended downward movement when motor power is removed. Upper and lower travel-limit arrangements can prevent excessive movement of the lifting mechanism, while a manual auxiliary drive can provide operation during electrical failure. The mechanism provides compact, controlled, and reduced-effort vehicle lifting suitable for roadside servicing, emergency wheel replacement, and automotive maintenance applications.
