Abstract: A portable radiation detection device is disclosed for hazardous environments. The controller converts detector events into dose and dose rate values, applies calibration and environmental compensation, evaluates configurable safety thresholds, records time- stamped measurements, and transmits validated data. The architecture supports reliable field operation, rapid warning, traceable exposure assessment, and maintenance- oriented self-diagnostics.
