MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621054943 A) filed by Mr. Shubham Rathi; Dr. Nishant Kumar; Mr. Himanshu Singh; Mr. Sharad Panwar; and Mr. Mohd Sartaz on April 30, 2026, for A Portable Biomechanical Training And Assessment System For Explosive Performance.
Inventors include Mr. Shubham Rathi; Dr. Nishant Kumar; Mr. Himanshu Singh; Mr. Sharad Panwar; and Mr. Mohd Sartaz.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to sports biomechanics and athlete performance assessment, and provides a portable biomechanical training and assessment system having a base frame, a top training plate, a force sensing assembly, an electromechanical tilt and perturbation assembly, an adjustable resistance loading mechanism, an optical motion tracking unit, an embedded control and processing unit, and a display and communication interface. The system acquires synchronized force-time, kinematic, and platform-state data during explosive jump, acceleration, landing, and reactive strength tasks, while selectively applying resistance and controlled surface tilt or perturbation. The embedded control and processing unit temporally aligns the acquired data and determines biomechanical metrics including peak force, impulse, rate of force development, contact time, jump height, movement speed, reactive strength index, asymmetry indication, and stabilization response, for output, storage, transmission, and adaptive training control.
