Abstract: Described herein is pole assembly [102] for circuit breaker [100]. Pole assembly [102] comprises reserve tripping mechanism [136] that comprises U-frame [142], U- shaped fixed armature [138] fixedly attached to U-frame [142], inverted U-shaped moving armature [140] pivotally attached to U-frame [142], wherein the aforesaid in combination define central cavity [152] through which connecting plate portion [132a] and bus bar unit [114] extends. Further, reserve tripping mechanism [136] comprises T-nut [146] positioned atop base [142a] of U-frame [142], wherein connecting plate portion [132a] is stacked over T-nut [146], while bus bar unit [114] is stacked over connecting plate portion [132a].Attachment means extend through each of connecting plate portion [132a], bus bar unit [114], T-nut [146], and base of U- frame [142], installing connecting plate portion [132a], bus bar unit [114] thereon, wherein T-nut [146] is made of ferromagnetic material improving overall flux density inside a region of reserve tripping mechanism [136].
