Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a plant-derived antimicrobial cleaning composition (100) for cleaning feeding bottles, nipples, feeding accessories, and washable infant-care articles. The plant-derived antimicrobial cleaning composition (100) contains purified water (102), lauryl glucoside (104), decyl glucoside (106), sodium stearoyl lactylate (108), xanthan gum (110), citric acid (112), potassium sorbate (114), aqueous amla fruit extract (116), aqueous Bael fruit extract (118), and aqueous soapnut extract (120). The lauryl glucoside (104) and the decyl glucoside (106) provide non-ionic cleansing and foaming action, while naturally occurring saponins of the aqueous soapnut extract (120) supplement cleansing. The sodium stearoyl lactylate (108) supports dispersion of milk- fat residues, and the xanthan gum (110) provides a pourable-gel consistency. The plant-derived antimicrobial cleaning composition (100) has a pH from 5.8 to 6.5 and a viscosity from 3,000 cP to 6,000 cP.
