Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a pillow (100) that is configured to selectively vary the height and contour of a cushion portion to accommodate differing head and neck support requirements of a user, thereby providing a desired support profile without changing the overall volume of the cushion portion. The pillow (100) comprises a protective cover (102), a resilient member (106), a shaft member (118), a knob (124), and a ratcheting cable tie (125). Rotation of the knob (124) actuates rolling and folding of portions of the resilient member (106) about the shaft member (118) to selectively increase height in a head and neck support region. The ratcheting cable tie (125) permits free rolling during height increase and automatically prevents unintended unrolling of the pillow (100). Height reduction is achieved by manually actuating a lock of the ratcheting cable tie (125) and manually unrolling the resilient member (106).
