Abstract: A pill formulation for improved banana productivity and method of synthesis thereof are disclosed. Said formulation broadly comprises: a spray-dried mixture; release control polymers; lactose monohydrate; corn starch; talc; magnesium stearate; and a polymer coating. The disclosed pill formulation (and/or method) offers at least the following advantages and effects: requires less concentration (of about 0.5%); improved efficacy; improved solubility and stability; improved nutrient uptake; does not require frequent or daily nutrient absorption; and/or provides a sustained release of nutrients, as a pseudostem insert, improving efficient absorption of nutrients.
