The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A pickup-and-feeding system for a round baler (170) comprises a unitary, non-articulating tine-carrier reel (101) having L-section structural members (104) rigidly secured between end support plates (102), each member (104) presenting a radial flange (105) to which resilient tines (107) are fastened directly by bolts (108) through apertures (106), without any intermediate locator. A feeder unit (120) downstream of the reel (101) carries feed fingers (122) on a feeder weldment (121) governed by a five-link planar linkage (128) producing a closed, non-circular oscillatory trajectory. A torque-redistribution transmission has a common-hub input member (130), a pickup branch (131) through a preset-torque slip clutch (132), and a feeder branch (133) taken upstream of the clutch (132); on slip-clutch disengagement, torque is redirected through the feeder branch (133) so the feeder unit (120) operates at elevated torque to mechanically clear accumulated material at the pickup region.
