Abstract: ABSTRACT A PATIENT CONSENT DIGITIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF. The present invention relates to an AI powered, blockchain based patient consent digitization system for technically verifying, recording, and enforcing informed medical consent. The system employs an artificial intelligence based comprehension verification workflow that objectively assesses patient understanding of medical consent information through analysis of patient interactions, response accuracy, and interaction patterns. Verified consent data is cryptographically secured and immutably recorded on a permissioned blockchain network to ensure traceability and tamper resistance. The invention further incorporates edge computing nodes deployed at point of care locations to perform real time validation of ongoing medical procedures against consented parameters, thereby ensuring continuous compliance during treatment execution. The system enables low latency enforcement of consent constraints, resilient operation during network interruptions, and dynamic management of consent validity over time. By integrating artificial intelligence, distributed ledger technology, and edge computing within a unified technical architecture, the invention improves patient safety, legal reliability, and real time procedural compliance in healthcare consent management.
