Abstract: A Particle Deflection and Impact Dispersion Shield for Air Blow Gun Applications The present invention relates to a particle deflection and impact dispersion shield (100) for mounting on an air blow gun nozzle (200). The shield comprises a circular base portion (101) with four equidistant flat interface surfaces (102A–102D), a convex dome portion (103), and a central mounting aperture (104). It is formed as a transparent polycarbonate body (107) having a diameter of 150–160 mm, thickness of 2–3 mm, and dome height of 20–30% of the diameter. The dome intercepts rebounding particles within an airflow divergence zone (202) and redirects them outwardly. The flat interface surfaces enable spring locking geometry (300) and vibration resistance (301), ensuring secure attachment, controlled particle deflection, impact energy redistribution (302), and enhanced operator protection (303).
