Abstract: ABSTRACT A PARKING BRAKE ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE The present disclosure relates to a parking brake arrangement (100) for a vehicle, configured to lock the drivetrain and immobilize the vehicle. The vehicle includes a gearbox housing (102) enclosing a driving shaft (104), a driven shaft (106), a shifting rail (108), and drive gears (110A, 110B). The arrangement comprises a parking gear (112) on the driven shaft (106) and a bush (113) with internal splines meshing with the driven shaft (106). A sector gear (114) on the shifting rail (108) engages the parking gear (112). A coupling (116) on the driven shaft (106) configured to engage with drive gears and parking gear (112). A shifting fork (118) extends from the shifting rail (108) and is coupled to the coupling (116). Linear displacement of the shifting fork (118) disengages the drive gears (110A, 110B) and engages the parking gear (112), thereby immobilizing the drivetrain of the vehicle.
