The PAS comprises first PAS module (104), and second PAS module (106) operatively connected to first PAS module. The first PAS module comprising first set of sensor modules. One of first set of sensor modules is configured as first master sensor module. The second PAS module comprises second set of sensor modules. One of second set of sensor modules is 10 configured as second master sensor module. The second master sensor module is configured to transmit distance measurement data to Body Control Module (BCM) (108). The BCM performs one or more operations to assist driver parking vehicle based on distance measurement data.
