Abstract: ABSTRACT A NOVEL TOOL FOR 3-DIMENSIONAL WIRE/CABLE PLANNING, ROUTING IN PRODUCTS AND METHOD THEREOF The present invention relates to a tool for 3D dimensional Wire/Cable Planning, Routing in products. In current scenario products are incomplete without electronics & electronics require cabling, wiring etc. to communicate between different points. Efficient working of product requires the cables & wires to be carefully laid so as they don’t physically get damaged causing shorts or cause interference to other modules in the vicinity. The wires also need to be accessible for maintenance, repair etc. to ensure quick turnaround times. Conventionally these wires & cables are manually laid based on standard wiring 2D templates. 2D templates ensure the end toend connectivity & length but they don’t ensure the correct bend radius & distances are maintained. 3Dimensional routing is also complicated using a 2D template.
