Abstract: A digitally created placement guidance for mini-implant-assisted rapid palatal expansion (MARPE) is the subject of the current invention. A typical orthodontic issue that can deteriorate with age and impair facial development is a maxillary transverse deficit. In late adolescents and adults, MARPE has become a popular treatment option; however, proper mini-implant placement and advantageous palatal architecture are critical to its effectiveness. Asymmetric expansion, treatment failure, or screw loosening can all be caused by improper placement. A three-dimensional, digitally prepared guidance is introduced by the proposed innovation to help clinicians position the MARPE expander and mini-implants precisely. By integrating imaging data, virtual planning, and guided placement, the device aims to improve precision, reduce technical difficulty, and enhance the predictability of MARPE therapy.
