Abstract: Surgical site infections (SSIs) remain a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing abdominal trauma and abdomen surgery. Early detection and monitoring of SSIs are critical for improving patient outcomes. This study introduces a novel, innovative instrument designed to assess the risk of SSIs in abdominal trauma patients by simultaneously measuring local oxygen saturation (Sp02), temperature, and pressure at the surgical site. The device integrates non-invasive sensors to provide real-time data, offering a dynamic and comprehensive evaluation of the wound's healing environment. Oxygen saturation levels indicate tissue viability, while temperature and local pressure offer insights into potential inflammation or ischemia. The instrument aims to enhance early diagnosis, allowing for timely intervention and reducing the incidence of infections.
