Abstract: A Novel Eugenol-Free Zinc Oxide-Based Endodontic Sealer Incorporating Trans- Cinnamaldehyde and Lavender Oil ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This present innovation relates to a novel eugenol-free zinc oxide-based endodontic sealer formulated using zinc oxide powder and equal volumes of trans-cinnamaldehyde (TC) and lavender oil (LV) as the liquid component. The formulation is designed as a biocompatible alternative to conventional zinc oxide eugenol (ZOE) sealers, which are associated with cytotoxicity, tissue irritation, and limited antimicrobial effectiveness. TC contributes to potent antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, enabling effective reduction of microbial load within the root canal system. LV complements these effects through its antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory actions, helping to reduce oxidative stress and promote periapical tissue healing. The oil-based nature of TC and LV provides excellent workability, lubrication, and flow characteristics, facilitating uniform coating of root canal wall and core obturating material. The resulting sealer achieves a three-dimensional seal while promoting tissue repair and reducing microbial contamination. Consequently, the invention offers improved therapeutic outcomes compared with conventional eugenol- based endodontic sealers. Total Number of Words: 150 wordslume mi
