Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel cognitive AI-orchestrated zero-trust microservices security framework designed for healthcare and education ecosystems operating in distributed, cloud-native, and hybrid computing environments. The framework integrates artificial intelligence, behavioural analytics, automated threat intelligence, and zero-trust security principles to provide continuous authentication, adaptive access control, predictive vulnerability detection, and autonomous threat mitigation across interconnected microservices and APIs. The proposed system leverages machine learning models to analyse application behaviour, detect anomalous activities, and dynamically enforce security policies throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), including source code analysis, CI/CD pipeline validation, runtime protection, and post-deployment monitoring. The framework further incorporates automated compliance validation for regulatory standards including GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA, and CCPA while ensuring secure electronic health record (EHR) exchange and protected academic data communication. Additionally, the invention introduces a self-healing security orchestration mechanism capable of automatically isolating compromised services, remediating detected vulnerabilities, and restoring trusted service communication without human intervention. The disclosed framework enhances scalability, resilience, interoperability, and cyber Défense readiness for enterprise-grade healthcare and educational digital infrastructures while reducing operational risk and improving secure service delivery in modern distributed systems.
