Abstract: The present invention relates to a bioactive agricultural composition based on medicinal plant extracts for sustainable pest control and soil quality improvement. The composition comprises one or more medicinal plant extracts containing pesticidal phytochemicals, a soil-quality-improving component, a natural carrier, and a stabilizing agent. The medicinal plant extracts may be selected from neem, tulsi, garlic, ginger, turmeric, pongamia, lantana, calotropis, custard apple leaves, aloe vera, moringa, or combinations thereof. The composition suppresses agricultural pests including insects, larvae, eggs, mites, fungal pathogens, bacterial pathogens, and nematodes through repellent, antifeedant, ovicidal, larvicidal, antimicrobial, and growth-disrupting activity. The soil-improving component enhances microbial activity, nutrient retention, moisture holding capacity, organic matter content, and root-zone health. The composition may be formulated as a liquid concentrate, powder, granule, seed coating, soil drench, or foliar spray. The invention provides an eco-friendly, biodegradable, and cost-effective alternative to synthetic pesticides and chemical soil conditioners.
