Abstract: The invention provides an automated worm tower for efficient vermiculture, designed to process organic waste into vermicompost. The system consists of multiple vertically stacked compartments, including a feeder compartment, preparatory compartment, and collection compartment. A feed level sensor in the feeder compartment triggers the release of waste to the next stage, while environmental sensors regulate temperature, humidity, and moisture in the preparatory compartment for optimal worm activity. The earthworms break down the waste, producing vermicompost, which is collected in the lower compartment, along with liquid vermi- wash. The automated system is powered by a lithium battery and includes a water misting mechanism to ensure proper moisture levels. This tower offers a cost-effective, space-efficient, and labor-reducing solution for sustainable organic waste management.
