MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511020627 A) filed by Icar-National Research Centre On Camel on March 07, 2025, for A Non-Thermal Process For Improving The Quality Of Camel Milk Chocolate.

Inventors include Yogesh Kumar; Artabandhu Sahoo; R K Sawal; and Mitul Bumbadiya.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a non-thermal process for improving the quality of milk chocolate. The process comprises preparing freeze-dried camel milk powder. Moreover, the process comprises melting cocoa butter and mixing it with cocoa powder, sugar, and emulsifier to prepare a homogeneous mass by adding freeze-dried camel milk powder and homogenizing at 40ºC in a blender for 20-30 minutes. Furthermore, the process comprises refining the homogeneous mixture obtained in the previous step in a refiner or mill for 3-5 hours at 40-50ºC. Additionally, the process comprises applying ultrasound wave frequencies at 20 kHz (750 W and 20% Amplitude) for a duration of 5 to 40 minutes to the refined mixture. Finally, the process comprises pouring the mixture into molds and cooling it in a refrigerated environment to ensure proper solidification.
