Abstract: A non-invasive and sustainable method for collecting naturally fallen tree leaves from the entire bare land of the forest, using passive collection systems such as mats or nets, which allows leaf biomass to be gathered without harming the trees or the ecosystem. The collected biomass having a calorific value comparable to dry wood, is dried, sterilized and categorized for use as biofuel. This bio-fuel can further be utilized in turbines for electricity generation and in boilers and furnaces for industrial processes. This invention mitigates the root cause of forest fires and offers a solution for global fire prevention by emphasizing comprehensive removal beyond passive nets or sheets for effective scalability. The process enables complete removal of dry leaves from human-accessible forest areas, thereby reducing combustible material and minimizing fire risks including from urban parks, roadsides, and exposed forest lands. It treats fallen leaves as an annually recurring biomass resource, capable of generating consistent income through responsible collection to preserve ecological integrity, collection is strictly limited to terrains that are accessible by humans, ensuring protection of remote and environmentally sensitive zones. Additionally, the process involves forest adjacent communities resulting in boosting the local economic development.
