Abstract: A NON – INVASIVE IMPEDANCE BASED METHOD FOR MONITORING OF CEREBRAL EDEMA ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to an IoT-enabled non-invasive impedance-based system for the detection of cerebral edema using Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT). The system employs a multi-electrode sensing arrangement to acquire impedance measurements corresponding to conductivity variations within brain tissue. The acquired data is processed to generate conductivity distribution maps for the identification and localization of abnormalities. IoT integration enables real-time data transmission and remote monitoring. The invention provides a portable, cost-effective, and radiation-free solution for early neurological assessment in emergency and pre-hospital healthcare environments.
