Inventors include Mohammad Hussain Raza; and Dr. Sumit Srivastava.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Neuro-Adaptive Cognitive Firewall designed to provide intelligent and adaptive network security. The system comprises a network traffic monitoring component for observing live network activity; a behavioral and contextual analysis component for extracting relevant network features; a neuro-adaptive learning component for identifying abnormal and evolving threat patterns; a cognitive reasoning component for assessing threat severity and determining responses; and an adaptive policy enforcement component for dynamically controlling network access. The proposed solution dynamically adapts its security policies based on contextual analysis and inferred threat severity. The firewall autonomously responds to detected threats by enforcing appropriate network control actions without reliance on static rules or frequent human intervention.
