The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: A head mounted assisted reality device (110) having a camera (112), a near eye display (114) and a hands free voice command interface (116), an expert computing device (120) having an integrated media instrumentation module (124), and a server (130) hosting a signalling module (132) and a media coordination module (134) are interconnected by a local area network (140) isolated from any public data network and operating without any public signalling, connectivity discovery or relay service. A first peer connection (PC1) carries a forward media stream (S1) from the camera (112) to the expert computing device (120). Responsive to a custom signalling event (E), a second peer connection (PC2) associated with an auxiliary room (138) is instantiated within the same session without interrupting the first peer connection (PC1); the media instrumentation module (124) captures display media via a media capture interface (126) and binds it as a track (T2) of the second peer connection (PC2). The head mounted device (110) renders the resulting reverse media stream (S2) on the near eye display (114) under hands free control, concurrently with the forward media stream (S1), whereby simultaneous bidirectional visual collaboration is achieved entirely within the isolated local area network (140).
