Root node (SINK) (4) is the root node of the mesh network within which this In-meter Gateway NIC (1) is present. On-board RF antenna (5) is used to communicate with the wireless mesh network. Battery Management System (6) contains a 15 rechargeable battery and controls the charging and discharging of the battery.
