Abstract: A nano-formulation of Rosuvastatin for sustained release anti-cancer therapy and a method of synthesis thereof are disclosed. Said formulation broadly comprises Rosuvastatin calcium and poly lactic-co-glycolic acid. Said Rosuvastatin calcium and said poly lactic-co-glycolic acid are in a weight ratio of 1:3. The disclosed nano- formulation (and/or method) offers at least the following advantages: enhanced cellular uptake, improved anti-proliferative effects, reduced direct exposure to free drug, biocompatibility, controlled drug delivery; and/or the like.
