Abstract: The present invention relates to a nano-emulsion gel formulation and a method for preparation thereof for topical treatment of fungal infections. The formulation comprises fluconazole, sesame oil, a nano-emulsion system, and a gel base. The nano-emulsion enhances drug penetration and provides sustained release, while sesame oil imparts moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects. The method involves homogenization and incorporation into a gel matrix. The formulation improves therapeutic efficacy, reduces irritation, and enhances patient compliance.
