Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a Municipal Water Supply Monitoring and Intelligent Alert System (100) for automatically monitoring municipal water supply and detecting possible pipeline leakage. The system comprises a water flow sensor (104), a piezoelectric vibration sensor (106), an ESP32 microcontroller (108), an LED indicator (110), a buzzer (112), and a Wi-Fi communication module (114) communicatively coupled to a Telegram bot (116). The ESP32 microcontroller (108) receives and processes outputs from the water flow sensor (104) and the piezoelectric vibration sensor (106) to classify a start of water supply, a stop of water supply, or a possible pipeline leakage. Based on the classified condition, the system selectively activates visual and audible alerts and transmits corresponding notifications to a user Telegram account (118). The system provides low-cost, real-time, and retrofittable monitoring for residential, apartment, and rural water supply applications. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
