Abstract: The present invention relates to a multipurpose cooking stove system for generating electrical power from waste heat during cooking. The system comprises a combustion chamber (101, 102, 201) configured to combust gas (101), firewood (102), or other fuels to generate waste heat (103, 201). One or more thermoelectric generator (TEG) modules (104, 105, 202) are thermally coupled to the combustion chamber, wherein a hot side (104) faces the combustion region and a cold side (105) is connected to a cooling system (203) comprising heat sinks, cooling fins, and optionally a fan (110). A heat-flux directing plate channels hot gases to increase thermal exposure. An electrical subsystem including a voltage regulator (106) and DC-DC converter (205) conditions the generated electricity and stores it in a rechargeable battery (204). Output interfaces include USB (206), DC output (107), and LED connectors (109, 207). A sensor-based monitoring unit provides safety alerts and includes IoT communication for monitoring.
