Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to a multipowered system (100) for a transport and storage container (102) and a method (300) of controlling the system (100) for the cold chain transport and storage container (102). The system (100) for the container is capable of dynamically selecting the heterogeneous electrical power units (114) to operate the container from the available plurality of heterogeneous electrical power units. The system is capable of dynamically managing multiple electrical power units to maintain a consistent and steady cooling of the container. The system is configured to use more than one power source to charge the battery pack (108a) or to power the container thereby reducing load on one single power unit. This reduces the overload, damage, and failure of the power units resulting in improved life span of each electrical power unit.
