Abstract: The present invention relates to a multimodal problematic internet use severity prediction system and method thereof. The system receives heterogeneous inputs including demographic information, clinical assessment scores, physical health measurements, behavioral questionnaires, and wearable-derived activity features. A preprocessing module performs deterministic categorical encoding, missing-value imputation, and feature alignment to generate a standardized feature representation. The processed features are supplied to an ensemble prediction module comprising multiple machine learning models including gradient boosting, random forest, and neural network-based tabular learners. Prediction outputs are aggregated through a voting-based regression mechanism to generate a continuous severity score, which is subsequently converted into ordinal severity classes using optimized threshold values.
