Abstract: A MULTIMODAL AI-POWERED PEDIATRIC EPILEPSY MONITORING AND ADAPTIVE INTERVENTION SYSTEM A multimodal AI-powered pediatric epilepsy monitoring and adaptive intervention system integrates physiological and behavioral tracking to provide accurate, child-specific seizure management. As detailed in the specification file FORM 2_5.docx, the system captures real-time data through a non-invasive network of scalp EEG electrodes, heart rate monitors, accelerometers, and video monitoring systems. A preprocessing layer prepares this data by executing bandpass filtering between 0.5–40 Hz and segmenting the signals into 5-second windows to reduce noise. A deep learning-based Transformer module utilizes multi-head self-attention mechanisms to discover temporal dependencies across the multimodal streams, classifying data into four discrete neurological states using a softmax-based dense network. Upon identifying an imminent or active seizure, the closed-loop architecture automatically triggers adaptive neuromodulation, adjusting stimulation parameters dynamically based on live data feedback. Visual interpretability is provided via an explainability module that feeds a parent-facing dashboard with actionable recommendations
