MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641112459 A) filed by Andhra University on September 18, 2026, for A Multilayer Community Detection System And Method For Detecting Communities In Dynamic Network Data.
Inventors include Mallela Hari Nagaraju; Dr. D. Lalitha Bhaskari; and K. N. Soujanya.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a multilayer community detection system (100) and method for detecting communities in dynamic network data. The multilayer community detection system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having at least one processing unit (104) and a memory (106) configured to execute a plurality of functional modules (108). The functional modules (108) comprise a graph construction module (110), an influence computation module (112), a dynamic optimization module (114), a perturbation detection module (116), an attention-weighted multilayer fusion module (118), and an output module (120). The multilayer community detection system (100) is configured for detecting communities in large-scale dynamic multilayer networks that overcomes limitations associated with conventional community detection techniques. The multilayer community detection system (100) is capable of modeling heterogeneous relationships among entities by representing interaction data across multiple semantic layers.
