Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multifunctional floor cleaning device (100) comprising a main body (102), a handle assembly (104), a rigid shaft (106), and a cleaning head (118) having a brush assembly (120), a suction mechanism (112), and a wet mopping mechanism (124) arranged along a cleaning direction. The brush assembly (120) loosens dirt and particulate matter from a floor surface and directs the loosened particulate matter towards a suction inlet (126). The suction mechanism (112) draws the particulate matter through the suction inlet (126) into a dust collection chamber (128). The wet mopping mechanism (124) comprises a water tank (136), a spray nozzle (122), and a mop pad (140) for dispensing cleaning fluid and wiping the floor surface. A control system (114) selectively operates the brush assembly (120), the suction mechanism (112), and the wet mopping mechanism (124) independently or in combination, thereby facilitating integrated sweeping, vacuum suction and wet mopping operations.
