Abstract: The present invention relates to a multifunctional bioactive toothpaste composition comprising bromelain, papain, and seaweed-derived hydroxyapatite for enhanced oral health management. The formulation integrates proteolytic enzymes, namely bromelain and papain, which facilitate the degradation and removal of proteinaceous deposits, extrinsic stains, and dental plaque from tooth surfaces. The composition further incorporates hydroxyapatite derived from marine seaweed sources, serving as a biomimetic remineralizing agent capable of repairing early enamel defects, reducing dentinal hypersensitivity, and restoring mineral balance within the oral environment. The synergistic combination of bromelain, papain, and naturally derived hydroxyapatite provides simultaneous whitening, plaque control, enamel remineralization, and tooth surface protection without the use of harsh abrasives or peroxide-based bleaching agents. The formulation may additionally include pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, humectants, flavoring agents, stabilizers, and antimicrobial compounds to improve stability, safety, and user acceptability. The invention offers a naturally derived, sustainable, and biocompatible oral care product that promotes effective stain removal, supports enamel regeneration, enhances oral hygiene, and contributes to the prevention of dental caries and hypersensitivity. The toothpaste composition is suitable for routine daily use and provides a comprehensive approach to maintaining oral health through enzymatic cleansing and biomimetic remineralization.
