Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) for dynamic playing surface. The system comprises a surface layer (102) includes interconnected surface modules (102a) arranged across a playing area and a sensor array (104) embedded within the surface layer (102). An actuator network (106) positioned under the surface layer (102), to modify mechanical properties of surface modules (102a). Moreover, an adaptation layer (108) integrated within the surface layer (102), and includes a microfluidic channel (110) configured to regulate fluid flow. A control unit (112) communicatively coupled to the sensor array (104) and actuator network (106) and generate control signals for adjusting the actuator network (106), the microfluidic channels (110) and system comprise a logic module (114). Further, an interface system (116) configured to allow monitoring of surface conditions and selection of sport-specific surface configurations. The present invention is applicable in multi-sport facilities, training centers, educational institutions for multiple sports.
