Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a multi shell launcher and method of operation thereof. The launcher incorporates a barrel defining firing axis, a plurality of chambers within a cylinder, an index mechanism that regulates chamber alignment and restrains cylinder rotation during firing, and a trigger mechanism operable in both safe and fire modes. The safe mode positions the hammer away from the firing pin, while the fire mode enables the trigger to release the hammer and actuate firing. A corresponding method of operation is also disclosed, encompassing opening the launcher, winding the cylinder, loading multiple shells, securing the frame, aiming, and sequentially actuating the trigger to discharge the shells. The multi shell launcher is designed to sequentially discharge multiple shells in rapid succession for effective crowd management. FIG.1
