Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-unit assessment system for detecting rapid decline in renal function associated with diabetic kidney disease, particularly without albuminuria. The system comprises a plurality of detection units configured to simultaneously quantify seven biomarkers across glomerular structural, tubular structural, inflammatory, and fibrotic pathways, a sample processing unit, a measurement unit, and an analysis unit. The method includes collecting urine samples, processing through centrifugation to obtain cell-free supernatant, implementing marker-specific dilution ratios of 1:50, 1:100, and 1:2 to obtain biomarker-rich supernatant, and contacting with detection units comprising capture antibodies specific to Cystatin C, KIM-1, NGAL, TNF-a, MCP-1, TGF-ß, and CTGF. The measurement unit quantifies optical density at 450 nanometers through 4-parameter logistic regression. The analysis unit integrates multi-pathway data achieving area under curve exceeding 0.70 and specificity exceeding 85 percent, thereby enabling identification of declining renal function independent of albuminuria status.
