Abstract: An automated solar panel cleaning system (100) is disclosed, configured to autonomously clean a plurality of solar photovoltaic panels arranged in a common plane using a single cleaning unit. The system (100) comprises a movable carriage (203), a support frame (221), a cleaning module (201) housing a brush assembly (205), a linear traversal mechanism (213) driven by one or more drive motors (223), a brush actuation mechanism (207) coupled to the brush assembly (205) through a linkage arrangement (209), a hybrid fluid delivery channel (211) selectively supplying compressed air or water, a corner rotation mechanism (215) and an inter-panel shifting mechanism (217) enabling transfer across adjacent panels, a plurality of gripping supports (219), and a control unit (225) coordinating the foregoing components based on feedback from one or more sensors (227), such that the system (100) autonomously cleans multiple panels without dedicated rails or manual repositioning.
